Will it be easier to bolt the water pump to the thermostat housing first then bolt the pump to the engine or

bolt the pump to the engine then bolt the pump to the housing?

should I apply thread locking compound to the motor mount bolts?

apply thread compund to all the water pump bolts?[8D]
