MAF sensor?
tonight i was driving my car and out of no where it like bogged out but didnt die. so i coasted it into a parking lot and tried to rev it up and it hit the 2500 failsafe limit. the CE light came on so i pulled out my scaner and it pulled the code of P1102 and said it was the air fuel meter would that be the MAF sensor. oh by the way the car is a 2002 sentra SER. 123000 mi. it this normal for it to go out? i have alredy replaced the TPS about a yeah and a half ago. any help would be helpful. thanks -Ron

RE: MAF sensor?
It is not unusual ... it could be the MAF. If you unplug the MAF do the symptoms change ?

RE: MAF sensor?
ok i have tried to unplug it no change, i got some of that maf sensor cleaner and no change. i just dont want to spend the 300$ for a new sensor just to find out that thats not my problem.

RE: MAF sensor?
If you unplugged the MAF sensor and there was no change... it sounds like there's your problem. When you unplug the MAF it should dramatically make a difference.
