Park lights come on when the brake is pushed

I have a quwstion and i hope you can help me, i have a 97 nissan sentra when i push on the brake pedal the car beeps at me and the park ligths and the dash board panal lights flash on. Does any anyone know what that means?

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR BRAKE AWITCH LOCATED AT THE PEDAL
