please help

I have a 1988 Nissan sentra 1.6 fuel injection,,,, that’s been idle and it’s been turn itself off
They told me that it was the air flow meter so I change it for a rebuilt and the service light is now off but the car is doing the same thing, is turning off and idle
So if someone know please let me know what should I do
