Hello all.

My girlfriend owns a 1997 Sentra Base Model. So nothing fancy.
She was sold the car minus a Passenger side mirror. (it was there from the factory). There is large dagger sticking out of the side of the door, and that is just not safe. So we need to get and put a side view mirror on.

What i am looking to do is some mods to this thing, (yes i will put them in different threads).
I want to give this thing Power side mirrors from another sentra that had power mirrors from the factory.

I have searched this and other forums about this and I am still left with a few questions.


1. Should I buy from the dealer? or a salavge yard?
2. Outside of the switch, mirror assembly, what other parts will I need?
3. Does any one have the schematic for this circuit?or aleast know the pinout of the connections?
4. I found a mirror switch on fleabay but it doesn't include the pigtail connector. is there a way around that?
5. Does anyone know how Nissan reference's their wire pigtail connectors.

Did it come factory with no mirror?

 

It was a manual mirror from the factory. One of the previous owners knocked it off. Now there is this jagged plastic dagger hanging off
