When I start my sentra, sometimes it takes about 5 seconds before it starts. I just had my 30k maintenance done on it. The service advisor said the tech didn't find anything but I don't believe him. Has anyone had this problem or heard about it? Please help.

 

there is a TSB for this not sure if it is exactly what you are talking about but it is Bulletin #05052 Sequence# 10015991 you can access it by clicking TSB's from the top menu of the forum.

 

The funny thing is that the nissan dealership insists that there's no recall on the car. I read about the bulletin. I was thinking about going to another nissan dealership to get a second opinion

 

its not a RECALL it is a Technical Service Bulletin which just means others have had the same problem.

 

How does Nissan deal with TSBs?

 

i am not sure but i have been having problems with my 05 sentra with 9000 miles and I had to fight tooth and nail to get anyone to do anything. Nissan Consumer Affairs is who I went through but it was no easy task. I would print the TSB and bring it to the dealer or go to another dealer altogether

I don't believe the tech didn't see any problem since you are experiencing some problem...
