Hey, new to the site, a little background about why im getting the Spec V. 10 months ago i bought a 2004 mistubishi lancer, about 3 months later, some lady pulled out infront of me,CRASH, car was totaled, her fault so her insurance agency paid for the car, so i get another 04 Lancer, about 7 months later exact same thing happens, this time the car is also totaled. so now her insurance agency it paying for another car. I found a 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V with 54,000 miles for 9,991. So within the next week we will be going to the dealership to start nigotiating on a price. The car is silver and already has an aftermarket exhaust, not sure what kind, AEM CAI, and tintes. I dont have too much money to purchase aftermaket stuff. i have some questions, is the Rockford Fosgate stereo that comes in the car have a sub, and is it a good stereo system? i listen to rap, so im looking for a nice bass. also i noticed an ugly antenna in the front of the car, is there any options i have to shorten it? I also definately want to get new tail lights,want them to be balck, and suggestions?Other than that i dont have any more question, but suggestions on what i should get next( looking for the most bang for my buck) would be nice. THanks

I recently got a 02 spec v....and i am very happy with mine. Fun to drive, quick, looks good...just all around nice car.....as far as the antenna....im sure there is a way to get a shark fin or something...but u may have to do some rewiring. The RF stereo....is also something i couldnt tell u much about...the speakers for my car sound good....for stock anyways....nothing to show though. Unfortunatly, my sub isnt working...but i think its only a 600 watt...so its probably not very bassy. And you can find lights anywhere.....websites, magazines, stores....there just about everywhere. Have fun witht he spec v.

If you're looking or good bass out of your system you're going to have to spend some money on the subwoofer, the factory one, well, frankly won't cut it bud. I have an '06 and the first thing I did (literally within a week of buying the car) is ripped out the factory subwoofer. I installed in its place 2-12" MMats Juggernauts, 1800 Watt amp, and a 2 Farad cap. I still have the factory head unit (cause it has the 6 disc changer) the important thing I did though, which most people over look is installed an in-line bass driver to boost the low end sound coming from the head unit. My car pumps, went to a SLP competition yesterday and hit 147.3dB at 45Hz... f-in ridiculous.

hey guys i have an 02 nissan sentra and i have a stereo box for sale, i had 2 15's in it , but you can take the top off of it and you can put anything you want in it , i paid 500 dollars for it ,but i am just asking 300-350 for it . it is a custom box and it will fit in any sentra.
