testing fuel pressure regulator and pump
I tried to loan a fuel pressure tester and vacuum at the parts store but they don't. At the shop they wanted to charge 95 dollars just to do the test.
I got a professional multimeter and OBD II scan tool. Can I check if the fuel pump is defective using a meter? The fuel pressure regulator and charcoal canister could be at fault (according to some websites). Since both are emission components can i check if these are bad using an OBD II scanner? Can I read the codes without turning the key to the ON position? Advice please. |
