Today when i started the car, my rpm gauge raced up to about 1200, down to 500 hundred, then leveled off around 900 to 1000. What the hell does that mean, lol! Never had it start like that before! Then I started it up again right after, it was fine. I thought it was weird! Any suggestions? Thanks!

yaur car was probly jus cold cars usuall idle a little higher then normal when you first start them

 

yeah thats normal you dont have to worry about it, when it starts sputtering then you got something to look into but thats just something that happens after its been off for a very long time or just cold
