What type of gas?
 

Hey everybody, new poster here. I just bought a '07 Nissan Sentra last night and was wondering what type of fuel I should use for it. I understand that higher grade fuels usually are reserved for cars that use compression to burn the fuel, but wanted to know if there would be any other adverse effects of using lower grade fuels as opposed to higher octane fuels. Thanks for any help.

your car was tuned from the factory to run 87octane unless you have the se-r sentra then you would probably get the best performance out of 91+octane but you will be fine just running 87 octane.
