Default heater problem - no heat

Hello, I am new to this forum and have a 2005 Titan 4x4SE Off RoadEditionwith the 5.6L V8 etc etcas my NTV while over here in Mosul.

One of the problems I am having is the heater is not putting out any heat at all. There is no difference between the cold and hot setting on the ****.

I have attached a picture in hopes someone could identify what this part is - flow valve, temp sending device?

Both the hoses going to the heater core feel warm, so it is circulating water, and the temp gage gets up about 1/2 way (pointing directly straight ahead).

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Vehicle has about 9,200 miles on it so far.

Thanks

Default RE: heater problem - no heat

Witha vehicle with only 9200 miles I would suspect a vaccuum leak.

Default 2000 Frontier heater problem

The blower works in all speeds. I have a/c. The problem I have is that it doesn't blow any heat. Is there a series of checks I can do to pinpoint the problem?

Same happened to my Micra. No heat at all and the water temperature was constantly growing. Seemed like the thermostat was blocked and needed to be changed. You should check it to see if that's the cause of the problem.
