I have a 2002 Xterra. It has a 6 Cd changer for the cd player. I was wondering if it is possible to put in a 2005 CD player into the X and will it still work with the buttons on the steering wheel. I dont want to go out and buy a new CD player and find out that it does not work. At the same time i want to put in a 2005 or 2006 cd player because you can plug the Ipod interface into it. Any answers or other Suggestions?

 

do you mean you want to install an aftermarket cd player, or nissan 2005 cd player. I just bought a 05 xterra with the rockford system, and I didnt notice any plug in for an ipod. But I'm a newbie so what do I know
