Default What mid sized car would you spend your hard earned money on?

I am in the new car market and would like your input. Out of these cars which do you think is the all around best?

I am looking at the 2007 for all of these, except the Lancer is 2008.

I am looking for a city run around car. Something that is fun to drive, comfortable on long trips, fairly good fuel economy, good power to weight, nice clean comfertableinterior and something that is built solid and will be reliable.

I would just like to knoweveryones personal favorite of these 8.

Thanks for the help.

altima man, they drive realll nice, plenty of room, handle well, plenty of power
probably be better off going for the 3.5 unless youre really worried bout gas economy

the 2.5 altima is great. good gas and still has pep to it. very comfortable, all around fun car to drive.

the sentra...that sr20 engine you cant beat. it'll pull like all hell for a small 4banger. dont let the 4 doors fool ya. and it is pretty comfrotable and practical...it's a good car. if you can go with the se-r specV, it's got an extra gear and bored out to 2.5 liters...but the 2.0 is still great.

the mazda 3 is decent, but not that great lookin and just cant compete real well.

the mazda 6...if u can get the mazaspeed version, but this one is good. it's quick, good interior, good car. definitely fun to drive.

the lancer gts is a cool car, pretty quick for what it is, no evo, but nice.

the 2.5 impreza will surprise u. handlin is great on it, it's a subaru. good engine, fairly comfortable. suspension is a lil stiff, but it isnt bad.

the civic...is well a civic. they finally bumped up the horsepower. it's nimble, comfortable, practical, good gas mileage, and u can still have fun in it. my dad has a wimpy 1.7 liter, 2003 4 door civic, automatic. nothin special at all and yet i still have fun drivin it.

the rabbit is a cool car. most ppl dont like their looks, personally i do. if u get the turbo charged one they r quick. they are made to handle well, be fun to driver and still get good mileage.

if you want an all around practical car that still is fun to drive, i'd say the altima or sentra. the new altima is gorgeous and the sentra is great lookin as well. the civic as well is ever practical and is still a good one to drive around town.

all of them are fun to drive, but my choice would be from these exact models, a rabbit, sentra, or the mazda 6. most comfortable are gonna be altima or civic and mazda 6. all get good mileage. but you have to remember a lot have performance type engines, so u will wanna race em at least once in awhile, you'll wanna have some fun, that'll affect it quick. the sentra has great power to weight. they all do...throttle response on just abt all of em r good. they are all fairly comfortable, but i'd say probably the civic, altima, and mazda 6 will be the best. reliable...sentra, civic, and altima i'd go with above all the rest. but the impreza, and rabbit are as well. they all arfe, but those three are the best. it's nissan and honda what can i say. you're final choice will have to be looks, sorry but i can't give ya advice on that, it's all opnion there.

i hope this helped some. if you have anymore questions about them feel free to ask. i am always readind up on new cars and everything abt cars, i love em and love talkin and helpin ppl with cars

Go for the Altima. The redesign is awesome.

psst just a note, the sentra doesn't have an SR20!!!! it's a new engine, code MR20DE. the SR20DE was only in it from 00-01 and during the B13/B14 times.
