Hi,

I bought 2003 Maxima in January '07. It won't start in first crank while parked for a while (15 min. or longer). It either take a very long first crank or starts in the second, but if I turn off the ignition and turn back on right away it starfts in the first crank. Did change the Fuel PumpPressure regulator as per recommendation by Nissan and still having the same problem. Also, the Air Bag light is blinking.

Can someone please help me with these issues.

Check page 14, clic link below; can be 'anythin' electrical.

Long crank /nofire should produce fuel smell... doesit? If not, fuel delivery isnt producing. Pump lazy? Fuel hose should be stiff (compare when all is fine -to- not firing)

Check for spark: get spare spark plug,, attach it to coil ground it - and watch.
