I have a 1996 nissan 200sx which I use for a daily driver. Currently, the car is not running. I get good fuel, and spark. NO fault codes were presnent and the static check on the ECM, checked good. After the car starts, it will riun for about five seconds, backfire and die. The timing chain doesn't have any play in it, the distbibutor is where it should be. The only thing I can think of is the crank, or cam positioning sensor, therefore the computer is thinking that the car is out of time. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it, I am stumped.
