Today we noticed the vehicle running rough (idled fine) faster you go the worse it runs. The 'check engine soon' light is also on (yellow) and flashing. Any idea of wher I should start looking for this problem?

Start by pulling the code from the check engine light. If I had to guess i would say knock sensor.
