Default 2001 altima car alarm issues

ok everyone, this is my first time using a forum for help so hopefully this works!

I got this car as a hand me down from my older sister about a year and a half ago and the car alarm would go off very sporadically. It wasn't a problem for about the first year, it would go off i'd say about once or twice a month and for only about a minute, but lately the alarm has been going off more frequently. i have gotten complaints from my college apartment complex and have tried to stop the thing.

So far, I went to the relay box, on the lid the diagram was printed. it said there should be 3 relays for the anti-theft. there was only one, and i removed it. Then i figured the problem would never happen again, I was wrong. then i went to the fuse box next to the battery and removed the anti-theft fuse again thinking that this would solve the problem. It did not.

What can I do to fix this problem? I am not very mechanincally inclined, i can change my brakes, oil, tune up, and have changed an alternator before(had a friend/gear head help), but other than that I have little experience. I'm not trying to splice anything, i would really prefer to just rip something out and solve the problem that way. is that possible?

thanks for any help everyone!
