ok here we go i know the 3.5 in the z's and the g35 arent to much different then my VQ40DE but there is a saying there is no replacement for displacement, technically speakinig how can i gain more horsepower form my truck seeming i have a bigger engine there is not much out there for me . from what i ahve found there is intakes, cat back kits and headers. now i asked the dealer about what is not going to void my warranty and they told me basically intakes and cat backs will not but the headers would. ive done some slight research into nissans variable induction control system and from what ive gathered at certain rpm's before i shift a solenoid opens allowing air into a expansion chamber to provide a more powerful gear change. is this true ? if i was to somehow disable this it would allow more air to go right into the engine. well im not going to go and hack something up for the hell of it and i cant really seem to find concrete evidence on this topic anywhere . id definitly like to gain more power .
