Hello Everyone,
Bought a 2005 Pathfinder (9K miles) three weeks ago and would like to upgrade the inside rear view mirror to one with temp and compass. Dealer said it was not available. Can it be done and if so where can I purchase parts, and it the conversion difficult?

i believe your mirror comes off with a 90 degree turn from the windshield. from there, you need to purchase a mirror with a camlock style mount if you dont want to replace the mount glued to your glass. they are tough to find, so look for a camlock style like: http://www.autobarn.net/autdiminrear.html there are very hard to find on ebay. wedge mount, as pictured on that site, are alot more common and made by the truck load by gentex. i have a toyota 4runner, and im wanting a non gentex mirror with a wedge style, and im forced to use a subaru mirror, because i like the green display. if you do decided to change your mount, let me know-i want your old mirrors power wires if it is made by donnelly. id try searching other car manuf. forums, like subaru and honda, if you want a mirror. email me at rraabb11@yahoo.com if you need help
