Hello fellow Nissan fans, I'm new to this forum and I'll take a break later to do some more intro but I need some help figuring out a problem in my 79 280zx tail lights. A couple of days ago I got the warning display for "tail lamp" and ignored it since they were still working like a few other warnings that occassionally show up when they're false. Well 2 days later I get up on a cold day and start it up, everything works just fine and as soon as I turn on the lights the tail lights go out and the dash lighting goes out. The 15 amp fuse on the CT slot keeps burning out when I turn on the lights and I've tried to trace it out. Yes I actually had the entire dash out, the heater disconnected, checked the cig lighter, checked all the lights on the outside of the car, and a bunch of relays under the seat. Nothing changed after all that except that now after putting it all back together the right turn signal is twice as fast, the left turn signal side lamp doesn't work anymore, the right rear turn signal and rear right side turn lamp also don't work. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Oh yeah one more thing this is a japanese domestic model RHD imported to the states. The car has only 120,000 km on it and has been in the garage for a while.
