Have an 86 300zx. Runs very badly, nearly flooded all the time. fire has been seen shooting out the exhaust...
It was doing this intermittantly, and I notice the vac/mileage gauge works when running ok, dead when running badly. No power, won't idle, black smoke out the back (when it's not flames).
I suspect something regulated by vacuum? Any ideas. Also starts ok, just way too rich...
