Ive got fire,fuel andgood cranking. still wont start

I bought a repo at an auction. I dont know much about it otherthan I do have fuel, spark and the engine is cranking fine.The timing seems to be OK and the distributor is rotating.I dont know what to check next, any ideas?[:@]
