Duuh - how to remove oil filter from a Terrano II
Hello Friends,
At my age and with all the cars I've worked on, you'd think I could change an oil filter! I have a 1995 Terrano II (RHD) which has been serviced by others. I went to change the oil filter and .... I can't figure out how to remove it! If I take the driver's side front wheel off I can un pick a flap, and I can un screw the filter ok (and spill the contents everywhere), but I cannot find a way of extracting it or inserting a new one!
I shamefully had to re-fit the old one and then replace the oil.
What's the secret? Do I really have to start undoing engine mountings?
Any help gratefully received!
Steve
