Hello Im new here but I have a question. I have a engine knock and I dont know where its coming from. recently rebuilt the bottom end at a shop after oil plug fell out. anyway, it started as a small tap, then turned into a louder knock. any ideas? i sounds like it is coming from the top of the motor. the bottom end has 40-60k miles on it. The top end however has never been rebuilt. Anyone have any iea what might be going on?

 

Does it always happen? or its just happening not often?

No it knocks all the time, I dunno there are probably so many things messed up with that car that I dont know where to begin.
