Error Code P0510, 97 XE king cab 4x4
I have a 1997 Nissan XE king cab 4x4 with 66k miles the check engine light just came on this morning. The error code is P0510, throttle position switch any help appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Full House, I checked the gas cap and re plugged all the cables in the TPS, than I cleared the error code. I drove the truck back and forth to work 60 miles and the light did not come back on, however I noticed the idle jumping up and down 300 to 400 RPM’s when I was stopped at a light once I tapped the gas pedal it idled down. Should I replace the TPS? If so, does it have to be adjusted or can I just put a new one in?
