Nissan Axxess 90 - Stalls
Hi Folks,
My dad's 1990 Nissan Axxess, 98K Km, 60k m (yes 98K km - 60k m!), Has this strange intermittent problem. After 20 minutes of running. itwill stall, it will only restart after 20 or 30 minutes. We have changed the starter twice. The alternator, The plugs, wires, and distrubutor cap. (not the distributor). We checked for and removed any moisture in the gas tank. It ran ok for about a week or so then it started upwith the same symptoms after a 20+ minute drive. The mechanic currently working on it, (there have been 3),is checking the Master Air Flow system....It has been awhile and still no solution...Has anybody out there had the same problem or have any hints?
Thks
Joe

Thanks for your response....It has been quite frustrating for all trying to figure this one out...
The problem is no longer intermittent...It has been happeningevery time we run the car now...The fuel system has been verified. The mechanic has verified(switched) the Master Air flow sensors with no success...Our plans are to let the dealer mechanics take a look at it...
