Afternoon......
I have an 88 sentra that i race in scca ITC competition......since my first post we have made remarkable improvements in the preformance and handling. Problem now is that the transmission has such a wide ratio that when i shift from 3rd at 6000, the engines rev's drop to 3900 when 4th is engaged....the power we found is just not enough to pull us out of a turn.....anyone have any knowledge of diffenent trans that can be used with perhaps a closer ratio....the trans in the car is a RS5F31A....as far as i know it's the standard issue for a sentra sedan..
