im the proud new owner of a 1984 300zx turbo it cranks but will not start any tips?

 

check your coils and your fuel system
you need 3 things to make a car fire compression spark and fuel
any one of those are missing and no go
you can buy a cheap compression tester at any auto parts store and it will get the job done then make sure you are getting fuel to the injectors (those might need to be cleaned)
then use an multimeter to check your coil for spark also look at your plug wires for tears cracks or heavt wear marks
then get back to me and if you still need help ill be more than happy to help

 

Well it depends on the car but it could be that you don't have spark, you could have a big vacuum leak, timing might be off. But don't flood your motor if your in a hurry! you have to replace it soon...
