Hey I have a 1989 240sx with the 5 speed manual. Whenever the tires start to break loose, or even when I go over a bump or something mostly turning right my car starts like wheel hopping or shaking in the rear end pretty bad. Do you think it could be a bad strut possibly? Or do I maybe need to rebuild my diff, because I think these came with locking differentials if i'm correct? Well any help would be great thanks.

i would check your struts and your sway bar before going to the rear end.either one of those would more than likely cause that.r both tires smooth or bumpy ?

 

Yea that is what I figured at first but then I felt that both rear tires are smooth, and not cupped.
