Default Hey guys, im new and my DECISION making

Hey guys,
I’m thinking about buying my first car. And like ALL car enthusiasts I’m looking for a reliable and powerful car. Keeping in mind that I am a P Plater and I live in New South Wales, meaning no turbo or supercharged cars for me (F&%$’IN G0v$rn$nt).
I have narrowed down my selection mainly to Nissan. And incorporating my budget of 12k, I have found these two car models: (Sorry for the length):

Major service done at 89,000kms. Stock exhaust and factory airbox are included in the sale. New battery, rear shocks, engine belts, radiator hoses. Aircon just repaired and re-gassed. I have receipts for all work done.

I was wondering what you guys could give me in the way of advice for this selection or any other cars I may have over looked. I want something cheaper to run, modify and go’s hard!!! I have done my own brainstorming and this is what I could make sense of with my own head.

I have brainstormed these ideas and opinions:
Nissan 300zx Z32:
Positive:
Luxurious Car (sold for more 60k brand new)
More powerful (168kw compared to 135kw)
Stock condition
Real Wheel drive
More Unique then skylines
More exterior mods to make it look good

Negatives:
More expensive to repair (cramped engine bay)
1 year older then skyline
30,000 km then skyline
Less common meaning less expertise in repairing advice ect

Nissan Skyline GTS4 r33:
Positives:
RB25DE
AWD
Cheaper to upgrade performance n maintain (straight instead of v)
Well modded for n.a
1 year newer then 300zx
More common meaning more expertise in repairing, advice ect
More powerful

Negatives:
Owned by another p plater, may have been thrashed
**** looking body kit and mags
Less powerful then 300zx
May have been thrashed
Insurance more expensive (maybe? Im not sure wat do you guys think?)
Awd may be expensive to maintain

Thankyou for your time reading this. Please correct me on anything that may be incorrect statistics wise, and any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks guys
Wilo

Default RE: Hey guys, im new and my DECISION making

the gts4 may have more potential. i'd have someone take a look at it to be sure its in good running order (and not been crashed) before investing in it (you could always remove the kit and swap wheels.
