I have a '94 Hardbody. I want my Hardbody to go faster. I race on the streets and so far the fastest thing that I've beaten was an '04 Ford Mustang with a 6 cyl. I put a Flowmaster exhaust, removed my belts for the A/C and Power Steering, removed the tube that runs to the intake, 16 inch Escalade wheels, and lowered it to a height of 1 1/2 inches above the road. I have the KA24E. I love the engine and have had no problems with it in the 186,000+ miles I put on it. If I use the computer from the 240SX, will that make the truck think its a 240?

ok...i see your point. Good point too. The thing about the A/C is that I might have used the A/C 10 times in the past 8 years. Power Steering to me its not something I need. I know the truck doesnt think....lol. And racing on the street...yeah thats a bad idea...the thing about that is I have access to a race track only about 10 miles from my house. Maybe I'll take my truck there. LOL....I just like the street thing.

 

Just put a Type-R sticker on it...


No, im kidding dont do that, but keep it off the streets... how fast you wanna go depends on your weekly income and how much you can fork out.

 

yeah that might work..lol. I checked on one website and found an ECU recalibration kit. do you know anything about that?

 

I'm not sure what they offer for the old hardbodys performance wise.... I would send an email to the guys at 4X4parts.com
