I just love my '04 Xterra. I bought it new with-10- miles on it. We've made 2 cross country road trips, and numerous local long distance trips.Odometer reading is 74K miles. In the beginning, afew minor kinks had to be fixed, but otherwise no problems, until now. I do have a problem with the dealership[:@], (VN of M)where I bought and have it serviced. Due to a mistake they made servicing my xterra, my xterra lost its oil drain plug and all the oil. We caught it in time and stopped. NO Lock-up. Nowwe feel thatthe engine has been compromised and is no longer reliable. The dealership says the engine is fine. The dealership refuses to extend the engine warrenty. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs. Waiting for their reply. Have ran into another person that this dealership refused to honor her warrenty. Has anyone else had problems with this dealership or sister company (VN of WB) in VA. I use initials, but if you've dealt with them, you know which ones. Anyone?
