Hi guys I'm new to this site and havea 2004 spec-v. Right now I'm working on doing the VQ35 swap so if anyone has had any experience in this department and has some advice that'd be great.

right now just planning everything out so the install can go smoothly. Its a long term project that i'm trying to make sure i do right. And yes the maxima/altimathe one i'm going to be using. I heard there was some issues with the newer ecu's? Any information would be helpful. I'll be doing research of my own but its always nice to have be able to narrow it down.

Why do the 3.5 swap ? .... Much more cost efficient to invest in a turbo kit.

I want to stay NA and there seems to be a lot more parts available for the VQ and if i ever do change my mind the large displacement means I can make more power in the end. That and it seems like hte VQ is a more reliable engine.

Nope, most people that mention it are talked out of it pretty quickly.

I'm pretty stubborn I'd heard of a guy with the tag unlucky who had done it but I'm not sure how to get in contact with him.
