I have a 1998 Nissan Altima and I am getting a P1105 OBDII Code, MAP/BARO Switch SOL/V. I have read all about this and it says the switch is located in the engine compartment attached to the right strut tower, NOT! Where is this located? I have heard the sensor is in the ECM and if you get this error the ECM has to be replaced. Is this true? I also read this is an absolute pressure switch which is located or attached to the MAF sensor. I am so confused as what to do? Any help on the situation or know what to do and where the sensor is? Thanks so much?

 

The code could be more than one thing... you need to follow a service manual for the correct procedure to narrow it down. Welcome to the forum.
