What extra components do I need to swap an S15 SR20 into an S14 240, i know theres some kind of black box that you can hook up so the speedometer works and something with trans mount modifications but i dont know what else

 

you only need the speed sensor from the ka to read on your speedo but go with a s14 black top sr20 trans cause the six speed s15 trans is really week. me personally would not waste my time with the s15 sr20 when you can make the extra 30hp by couple of mods, and its way cheaper. but other then that the sr20det swaps right in and uses all the stock motor and trannymounts.

 

Alright thanks. The reason behind using the S15 motor though is because I want the CVTC (or whatever it was called then) so then after i put that those mods on that would bring the S14 up to the same as an S15, itll be even faster

 

the s14 sr20det has the same variable cam timing as the s15 just has the smaller 370cc injectors instead of the 440cc injectors the s15 has.
