I have a 1995 240sx and recently the check engine light is on. I wanted to turn if off and see if the lights comes up again so I tried to disconnect the battery but didn't work. Does anybody know any other way to reset the check engine light?

go to autozone and have them check the codes for the check engine light also you can disconnect the negative battery cable for ten minutes and that usaully resets the ecu.

 

Maf Sensor or 02 sensor could be bad could be a faulty seal on your gas cap

 

i know how to reset it on a chevy XD

 

you might have to use a code reader with the reset button Autozone wont reset it for you
