350z swaps

RE: 350z swaps
its not really the worst, its not hard to install either. New hood? That all depends from person to person but those stillen hoods really mess up the looks of the Z. But APS does have good stuff out there. I saw a video on youtube with a 1000+ hp on a VQ35. I think it ran like low 8s or something. So it's all achievable with the VQ as it is with the supra. If ur willing to spend that much on a RB swap, why not just pull the stock VQ and build it from ground up. Forged all that good stuff like pistons, rods, new bearings, then a oil pan spacer and a couple of turbos and a good tune, UTEC or whichever u prefer or ur local tuning shop can work with and u have ur self whatever u desire and whatever u spend!
Greddy is probably the one most guys go for. APS? Turbonetics? JWT? PowerEnterprise? Ultimate Racing? SFR?
make sure u c what they r offering with their kits. Does it have injectors and an ECU?
hope this helps u and answers ur question
BTW SR20? r u seriously asking/considering that?

RE: 350z swaps
you would be better off with the emanage cause you have more tuning availble then the safc also heres a vid of an rb26 350z
i would rather get the rb26 then the vq but you would have less headaches with the vq but its really up to you both motors have potential but the rb26 is the godzilla of all nissan engines so good luck with your 350z project.
