Need help from the nissan gods out there. My sister inlaw has a 1997 Nissan Altima. Completly stock. She is complaining that the belts make noise in the morning and when you turn the wheel to one side, the sreering wheel vibrates. So I checked it out today. When you turn the wheel to either side till it doesnt turn, all the the drive belts stop moving like its being held back by something. I was thinking something to the lines of the power steering pump or the rack not working correctly. I wanted to know if anyone ever had this problem. Please anyone let me know. Would love to get some input on this issue.
