Default Emission failed - p0325, p1446, p1444

Hi,

My 98 Nissan Altima(GXE) failed emission test and when i took it to a local mechanic, he pulled the following code

P0325, P1446 and P1444

I was told that knock sensor and canister vent solinoid needs to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $600(including labor). Do you think its reasonable?

Also, there has always been a problem while filling the gas. The gas pump shuts off if i run it at full throttle. I have to hold it half way while filling it up. Do you think its related to the emission problem?

Can someone suggest what is the best way to go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance.

Well the canister vent solenoid is the problem with the Fuel Fill, this takes and vents the vapors and when it goes bad, it will not vent, causing the Gas fill pump to kick off, the problem with these is that the cannister is usually covered in salt, and when you try to un bolt the valve, the bolts freeze in the cannister and the cannister brakes, now you have to replace the cannister and the valve.
If you want to send me your VIN number i will get you a good price on the Knock and the Valve.
and if the cannister breaks, that as well...
