new engine for 98 altima

I have a 1998 altima, the engine siezed about 6 months ago, and I am going to buy a new engine for it, looking to spend around $1,000 for engine, which engines are most comatible, it is automatic.

00-01 altima sice your lucky it a obd 2 there a 5 hp diffence because of a larger throttle body
