Nissan Frontier This mid sized truck offers the advantages of the full sized Titan with its large bed and great off roading ability, but with a smaller, more efficient engine.

Default 05 Frontier bad driveline??

Hi guys,
I have just gone through 3 months of H_LL. My brand new truck was finally diagnosed. The driveline is bent. It has 4,600 miles on it and I figure almost half of those were put on by the Tech. and ofcourse the trip to the shop. My question is....what kind of damage could it do to the rest of the truck?? It was vibrating pretty bad by the time they figured it out. Fourteen different tires and three set of rims later.

Well depends on how long and how bad it was vibrating,
right now, you are looking at possibel wear on the Rear Yoke and the Trans yoke,
maybe some wear at the trans mount.
can't think of much more, but I am sure someone else will chime in here..

The vibration was bad enough to show a little wear on the rear tires with about 2,200 miles on them, but not bad enough that the dealership (LOOSERS) I bought the truck from would admit there was something wrong with it.
Should I insist that both of the yokes are replaced?? What would you do?

Dec. 9th, 2005. Well, I just talked to the service dept. and Allen told me that the driveline had come in but when they put it in the vibration was much worse. Then they took one out of a truck on the lot....it seemed a little better but the vibration is still there.
I want a new truck.
I think 3 months of torcher is enough for anyone.
