I have an A/C problem I was told is the thermistor on my evaporater core, in low temps it works very well, when it gets hot the system seems to go half cold or not at all. Other than having to remove some of the housing under the dash is this very difficult job or could someone with a lot of mechanical knowledge tackle it? Thank you, Mark
2/3/07 I had the thermistor replaced and if I keep the system close to max output it works fine, get into traffic and it kicks in and out, or if you change the temp, or fan setting. When this happens the clutch/compressor is off also. It does work better than before but still a problem.
