Default nissan serena overheating / cylinder head problem

I have 1993 2.0 deisel serena.
It had been running hot and using water for a couple of months but i just put it down to the very hot tempritures we get in southern spain.
But then on leving work one day it appeared to start running very sluggish (may have only been running on three cylinders) i managed to get home with lots of black smoke.
Next day started it up did not seem to bad so i did compression test all ok over 30 on all cylinders.Deside to take for a drive after 5 mins loads of white smoke and no power, could not got up hill to house. Had to be towed up hill.
I purchased new headgasket and cambelt. I have taken head off and this is what i found three of the head bolts are rusty (water getting on them i presume) the head gasket looks ok. The head is not cracked and appears to be flat but number 2 combustion chanber is pitted all around the valve seats.
Can i just clean it up and put back togeather ? if not can it be repaired
The only secondhand heads i can find are from 2.3 litre will this fit on a 2.0 litre engine ?

any help welcome mick
