Maybe I'm a bit of a perfectionist but rather than bypass the KS using the resistor method, I am thinking of putting in a new KS in my 95 Maxima. On one website, I saw where a fellow detailed taking the top of the engine off (NOT FUN) and then changing the KS. It's very tight but I can get a wrench on the bolt on the KS but until I have a new KS, I don't want to attempt removal. Has anyone had experience changing the KS on a 95 Maxima without disassembling the top of the engine?
