Default engine
I have a 87 nissan maxima the problem that i am having is it won't start right up anymore i have to press the gas pedal and hold it for 10-15 seconds until it catches, this has being going on for 2weeks.

How old are Ign wires & Cap? One possibility is sooty throttle pos sensor TPS. On 89-94 VGE engine its repair looks like this: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/6

Ya possability, also injector? if you loosing fuel pressure when the car sits it can have a long crank
