exhust problems ! help!
 

so i put a bolt on warp speed exhust on my 95 maxima tonight
my chekc engin light came on and its acting verry odd
do i need something to fool the computer
the O2 sensors are in place, but teh Pre catts are gone

any thoughts?

First, I suggest you read/have it read for codes. See what the computer thinks is wrong. If it says you have a bad O2 sensor... there you go. Or maybe it's something unrelated. You never know. Anyway, is it possible you damaged the O2 sensors when you changed them? Could be the missing cats are causing your problem too. Taking them off would cause a change in exhaust back pressure, which could change your mixture enough to possibly trigger your light. If so, I guess you could ask your local speed shops how to get around it. Also, did you make sure you didn't leave a wire or something disconnected (like maybe the 02 sens.) somewhere when you installed your new exhaust? It might pay to check it again, just in case. (Hey, it happens!) So like I said, read it for codes first. That way there's no guessing.
