Maxima Blower Resistor Keeps Blowing!

Maxima Blower Resistor Keeps Blowing!
I have a 1997 Maxima. My blower stopped working in speeds 1,2 & 3; however, it still works in 4. I inspected my blower resistor, and of course, it was corroded and had failed. I went to the dealer and picked up the correct resistor and installed it. No more than 5 mins in the 3rd blower speed, the new resistor blew. The dealer graciously gave me another one w/out charge, but i'm relunctant to reinstall it w/out further trouble shooting.
Anyone have any idea of what mynext steps shouldbe?

Well, didn't think that I would reply to my own post, but to anyone having had the same problem... problem solved...
Don't leave the blower resistor dangling outside the blower. Be sure to screw it back immediatelyso that the air from the blower passes over it; otherwise, it will overheat and blow.
