I need help identifying the hose shown on the picture. It’s a small (about 10mm) hose turning up near the valve cover, rear left (driver side) corner. I found the upper end of this hose disconnected. Engine seems to run OK with hose disconnected, but I need to know where it goes and connect it before I take the California smog test.

are you sure it iZnt a crankcase breather hoZe?

 

do you see anything up top that it should be hooked up to? i would also think that it is a vent tube. with the car running, does the hose spray anything out at all, or create any suction??

 

hmmm, maybe he fixed it?

 

It was probably a vent. I passed the test.
