Default Need Help - Control panel not resetting

The key fob for our 2005 Muranogot into the hands of our 1 year old. The lights were left on overnight and battery drained. We jumped the car and is running fine but the control panel won't reset, e.g., cannot move heat temperature, etc. No fuses are blown; Unconnected and reconnected the battery.Still no luck.Any thoughts?
PS - The keys are now in a locked drawer.

So your 1 year old got the key fob.... walked outside and got into the murano... went out for a night of drinking.... and left your headlights on ? ... Geesh.... wish my 1 year old could do that.

Need more info... are the lights on your control panel out ? ... Does the power outlet work ?

Thanks for responding -
if only he had remembered to pick us up too, we wouldn't have had to walk home in the cold....

here are further details...
The middle console is completely lights out - no clock, radio, thermostat, maintenance settings
The dashboard, HomeLink, alarm, dome light, etcare working fine.
