hey guys, new to the forum here. i have a problem with my 03 pathfinder with automatic transmissionwhich has developed today. as i was driving home from dinner, i noticed that my transmission seems to be acting up. when i step on the gas to accelerate, the car seems to be in third or fourth gear and barely wants to go...if i continue to depress the gas pedal, the car will eventually abruptly downshift (apparently into first) revving pretty high for a few seconds, then abruptly shift back into a higher gear...seeming to miss second gear all together. I checked the transmission fluid when i got home, and it appears to beok. anyone else experience this? or have any idea what the problem mightbe?
